Then I rewatched it and noticed that the story seemed weaker. <br /><br />The beginning shows us the defendant. He is very young, very devastated. By showing us his face we are instantly somewhat biased. The way he is shown (the music, the expression on his face) is clearly meant to induce some sympathy and pity.
