Watching it again, I was delighted with the comic book stuff, though given the comic book style of the movie, it's not that it really needed the enhancement. That said, it's like having an extra cherry on top of your sundae. I bought the Directors Cut DVD as soon as it came out and was actually disappointed at first that the only addition was the comic book sequences. Alas, Extreme Prejudice, as much as it provides more than a few nods to the Peckinpah influence, feels pretty well-worn. It's a movie one wants to like, but for this fella, that's the extent of it. At then end of the day, though, I guess it's pretty nit-picky since Hill has delivered so much Greg Klymkiwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12489498135858240033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2593801517891533127.post-81423273742820397072010-04-05T09:51:59.549-04:002010-04-05T09:51:59.549-04:00As far as Hill's post 'Streets of Fire'...As far as Hill's post 'Streets of Fire' output goes I think 'Trespass' is a solid clausterphobic action picture - his last good film. And I do admire Hill's most 'Peckinpah' influenced film the ultraviolent,'Extreme Prejudice'.Alan Bacchushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10828941303586018368noreply@blogger.com
