It's Feb 3rd, 2008 and Daily Film Dose turns one year old today! Thank you to everybody who reads and comments. I appreciate everyone's support. Since Feb 3, 2007 I almost managed the complete my task - a film review every day. There was one day I didn't get to post a review or essay - Dec 1st - the day I moved into my new house. But apart from that, it's been a review a day. The frequency will continue this year as well.

Congrats Alan! I read about 25-30 film criticism sites consistently and you have emerged as my favorite, as well as the one i seem to concur with most often.
my only disappointment (but not really) was that recently i scoured your archives looking for a (hopefully positive) review of Blow Up to send to a colleague of mine who absolutely hated it/didn't get it. didn't find it but i'm sure it's coming soon. hint hint. on the upside, the feverish search led to me reading dozens of older gems from you.
